Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Barcelona have contacted the club over their intention to sell Antoine Griezmann.
The Premier League champions are in the market for a forward and have been linked with a move for the Barcelona forward as Barcelona look to offload him.
The Blaugrana are under pressure to offload some big earners in order to comply with La Liga salary caps and register their new arrivals, which has led to a host of speculation surrounding Griezmann’s future.
City are still thought to be plotting a move for Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, but a swoop for him has been mooted if they are priced out of a deal for the England captain.
The Premier league champions are reportedly interested in the Frenchman, but Spanish Daily Mundo Deportivo had claimed there has been no movement on the front yet.
Now, L’Équipe are reporting that Barcelona have reached out to Manchester City and Tottenham over potential deals involving Griezmann.
According to French outlet, Antoine is not ready to accept any conditions to leave, simply because Barcelona find themselves in a complicated situation [financially].
The report adds the 30-year-old would only consider a return to Atletico and not a move to the Premier League.
Griezmann’s existing deal with Barca is not due to expire until 2024, and he has scored 35 goals and set up 17 more in 99 appearances for the Catalan club since 2019.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have been sharing their thoughts and opinions.

Pep doesn't want him
We don't want him, not gonna pay 800k per week for average performance and the fact that he's considering Atletico before us should be reason enough to leave him alone, its time we get players loyal to our club and not put our club second

@ManCity said they are not interested in him weeks ago, and that was before it came out he was on ~€800k a week ! 🤯
