Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club is keeping tabs on Brighton & Hove Albion star Ben White.
The Albion defender, who is also a target for Premier League rivals Arsenal and Everton, is with the national squad as they prepare for Wednesday’s Euro 2020 semi-final against Denmark.
The 23-year-old defender has reportedly caught the attention of Manchester City after shining for Leeds United during 2019-20 – and then Brighton last term. His ball-playing style and versatility has seemingly attracted the premier league champions.
White is a man in-demand in the ongoing transfer window with Arsenal reportedly to have seen Brighton knock back their two initial offers for the centre-back, while Everton, under new boss Rafael Benitez, are also keen on a move for him.
According to talkSPORT, City are now in contention to sign White, says Crook, who was told over the weekend that the Premier League champions are monitoring his progress at the Amex.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester City will decide to launch a swoop for White in the coming weeks and try to beat off competition for his signature.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have been sharing their thoughts and opinions.
