Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club have made it plain that talk they have agreed a £160million deal for Tottenham striker Harry Kane is nonsense.
The Premier League champions are in the market for a forward to replace Sergio Agüero, who left the club after a ten-year spell in Manchester and Harry Kane has been their top target in the ongoing transfer window.
The Premier League champions are thought to be have made a £100m offer for the England captain but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is reluctant to part ways with Kane this summer and has slapped a staggering £150m price tag on the marksman’s head to fend off potential suitors.
Reports emerged on Thursday night that City had agreed a £160million deal with Spurs, after the London club’s chairman Daniel Levy had performed a U-turn and acceded to Kane ‘s request for a move.
It further claimed that Kane would be given a contract worth £400,000-a-week at City.
According to Stuart Brennan of the Manchester Evening News today, Man City are firm in saying they would never pay the kind of figure [£160M] being reported in the press for Harry Kane.
Stuart Brennan adds that Tottenham have made no public comment but are privately understood to have said there has been no u-turn from Daniel Levy – maintaining that Harry Kane is not for sale.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, many Man City fans have been sharing their thoughts and opinions.
U-turn, V-turn or whatever turn, City should replace Kun. And Harry Kane is one of a few players who can fill the void left by Aguero.

Good. If we were going to pay £160m, wouldn't we just go for Haaland at that point considering his price is quoted at £150m?
