Some Manchester City fans are delighted with comments from Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola on Pep Guardiola.
City have been heavily linked with a move for the Dortmund’s striker this summer and will have to beat off competition from the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus among others for his signature.
Haaland has a release clause of €75m in his contract with Dortmund, but that only comes into play in the summer of 2022.
The Norway International looks to set to leave Dortmund this summer after his father, Alf-Inge Haaland, and agent, Mino Raiola, were spotted in Spain at the start of last month.
Over the years, Pep Guardiola and Raiola have made their animosity well known in regards to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The fact that the two have been at loggerheads is hardly disguised with both exchanging blows publicly on a slew of occasions.
It looks like the bust-up between the two could end up hampering Manchester City’s pursuit of Erling Haaland, but Raiola has revealed that he has no problem with the former Barcelona manager.
“It was Guardiola who ended up badly with me (laughs). I listened. Guardiola is a great coach. I don’t hate anyone, I don’t find him unpleasant. I don’t know him in person. I didn’t like what he did with Zlatan, but this is the past…,” Raiola told Diario AS [via Sport Witness].
These comments were shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and they attracted plenty of attention of Many Sky Blues, who have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
