A selection of Manchester City fans on Twitter have reacted after defender Aymeric Laporte trained ahead of Borussia Dortmund clash in Champions League on Wednesday.
Laporte and Sergio Aguero missed City’s Premier League defeat to Leeds, with Pep Guardiola confirming before the game that the Frenchman had a hip problem.
The defender looks set to return to action against Dortmund on Wednesday as he was seen back in training, as tweeted by Manchester City on Monday.
The defender taking part in training seemingly confirm he has overcome the issue that forced him out of the Leeds game.
Guardiola, along with the rest of his squad, would certainly use more experienced Laporte for the run in as the squad continue to battle on all four fronts heading towards the middle of April.
Here’s what the City fans on Twitter have had to say in response to Laporte’s injury update…
