Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays another update on Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland.
City have been heavily linked with a move for the Dortmund’s striker this summer and will have to beat off competition from the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus among others for his signature.
The Norway International looks to set to leave Dortmund this summer after his father, Alf-Inge Haaland, and agent, Mino Raiola, were spotted in Spain earleir this month.
RAC1 later revealed that Haaland’s father and his agent had made a series of eye-watering demands to Barcelona, but Raiola reacted just hours after the reports via social media labelling it as ‘fake’.
According to The Mirror, Mino Raiola’s plan for Erling Haaland to become first ever £1 million-a-week player as there is expected to be an almighty scramble for Haaland’s services this summer.
Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, who is currently the world’s highest paid footballer is on a reported £500,00-a-week AFTER tax, with stoppages as much as £200,000-a-week.
While this sort of money will almost certainly rule out the large majority of potential suitors, it is claimed that both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain could still remain in the race.
Haaland, who has now gone 495 minutes since he last scored a goal for club or country would be a dream signing for City to replace Sergio Aguero, who is leaving the Etihad Stadium when his contract expires this summer.
But Pep Guardiola had described the prospect of another record breaking transfer in the close season as “impossible”, though he later softened that stance by claiming a 100 million-pound signing was possible.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, Many Sky Blues have been expressing their thoughts and opinions of this latest update.
He’s going to end up in Paris, a team that only really has 13 games max per season

Lol this is getting out of hand now. He’s an unbelievable talent but a million a week? I don’t care how good your are a million a week is a joke! I just hope his career doesn’t get ruined by this…

Raiola at the end will "wreck" Haaland🇳🇴 with this idiot thinks. Any team will pay this salary to him and the price to sign him neither. I guess Raiola + Haaland have made a deal for 2022/2023 season to Real Madrid (this year Mbappé🇫🇷), continuing one year more at BVB. My feeling

Whoever is paying him 1m a week good luck bc it won’t be us

City shouldn't bother with these kind of demands, it's absolutely ridiculous, there are a lot of good strikers out there who would jump at the opportunity to sign for City.

Then good luck to the lucky owners,we aint ever signing him for that much and if thats real, then im happy we are not getting him
