Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims some Premier League clubs are in position to make approach for Eric García this summer.
The 20-year-old’s deal at the Etihad Stadium is due to expire at the end of June, though, and he is widely expected to leave Pep Guardiola’s side on a free transfer after he turned down a contract extension from the Premier League club late last season.
The defender, who left Barca for City back in 2017 after nine years in the La Masia academy had reportedly agreed a deal in principal to move back to Catalonia last year
Marca reported last week that Barcelona had ‘modified the amounts’ of the pre-agreed contract they had with Eric Garcia, now offering the player less and leaving him with something to think about.
According to Spanish newspaper Sport, as translated by Sport Witness, Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea are waiting on the sidelines should Eric Garcia open himself up to other offers.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, Man City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
He can go to arsenal. They don’t have defenders.
