Manchester City are reportedly keeping tabs on Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who they view as the ideal replacement for Fernandinho this summer.
Guardiola is reportedly a big fan of the 25-year-old, who has started to do well for Juventus after a bit of a stop-start time to his career initially in Italy.
The France international has been a key player in the centre of the park for the Bianconeri this term, but they are willing to sell him for the right price.
According to Calciomercato, Manchester City and Barcelona are closely monitoring Adrien Rabiot’s situation at Juventus ahead of a possible summer move.
It is reported that Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo wants a rebuild of the midfield and the club are prepared to part ways with Rabiot.
The €32m-rated midfielder has made 72 appearances across all competitions for Juventus and has over two years left in his contract.
City are likely to be looking for a replacement for Fernandinho soon and Rabiot looks like he could be a good fit for Guardiola’s style of play and give good quality on the ball in the central midfield area.
The Cityzens have also been linked with Ismael Bennacer, Mahmoud Dahoud, Manuel Locatelli, Denis Zakaria and Douglas Luiz as potential replacements for the Brazilian.
