Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports to yet another update on Eric Garcia‘s potential move to Barcelona.
The highly-rated 19-year-old centre-back has been at the centre of interest from Barca throughout the summer after Pep Guardiola revealed that he did not want to sign a new contract at the Etihad Stadium
City are understood to value Garcia at around €35m (£32m/$42m) and are prepared to let him see out the final 12 months of his contract unless they receive a suitable offer.
According to Moillorens via HagridFCB, Barcelona expects City to reduce their demands for Eric Garcia and make one last attempt to sign the player before the market closes.
Guardiola has long admired the youngster’s calmness, maturity and decision-making under pressure, even if he uncharacteristically joined City’s slump in the second half against Leicester.
