Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Pep Guardiola has ‘given clear input’ to Ferran Soriano, stating Leonardo Bonucci is the ‘first objective’ to make his defence ‘airtight’.
Pep Guardiola, who is an admirer of the Italian international, will surely be prioritising his backline this summer as they haven’t been as solid at the back this season after losing talismanic captain Vincent Kompany last summer
According to Goal, Guardiola sees Bonucci, 32, as the perfect man to fill the void left by Kompany. His ability on the ball and his passing range would make him a great fit for a Guardiola side.
But City will have a hard time prising the Italian away from the Serie A giants as Juventus have no intention of selling Bonucci who only recently renewed his contract with the club.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra, Manchester City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions
BS! He’s old. Expensive. Loves Italy. Not ready to ply his trade abroad. Snubbed us before. Pep won’t break the bank for someone like him. Can easily get a better deal.

Sorry Pep but about it you are wrong. Experience? Yes but old player. You need youngers. I. Konaté 🇫🇷 as example, B. Kamara 🇫🇷….

If we’re going to sign someone like him it would of been better to try and keep Kompany
