Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that the club has receives Saul Niguez transfer boost as Barcelona have decided not to sign the defensive midfielder.
As per Mundo Deportivo ( via the Daily Star ), Barcelona will not be pursuing Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez this summer, paving the way for Man City and their rivals Manchester United to bid for the Spaniard
The Spanish champions paid Atletico £15 million in October to secure a first option on certain players, including Saul, but will not be using their first right to refusal this summer, according to the report.
Both Manchester Clubs have registered their interest but Saul has release clause of £135 million will presents a stumbling block for any clubs in pursuit.
