Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has expressed his satisfaction with the one major first-team signing the club has made this summer, as they have been relatively quiet in the transfer market. The addition of Savinho from City Football Group’s sister club Troyes adds a new dimension to City’s attacking system, with a reported initial transfer fee of £21 million.

Guardiola acknowledged that there could still be changes to the squad before the transfer window closes, but emphasized the quality of his current players. While there has been talk of potential new arrivals, Guardiola stated that the squad is long enough and he is comfortable with the quality of his team.

Savinho is set to return to the City Football Academy to prepare for the upcoming season, with most of City’s first-team players expected to be back in August. The Brazil international is expected to be officially unveiled at a special signing event, with the possibility of additional new arrivals being announced alongside him.
