Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of yet another annual rumour linking the club with Real Maldrid and Spain midfielder Isco Alarcón.
City’s interest in Isco is long-standing. Manuel Pellegrini wanted the playmaker when he was at Malaga, with the Chilean making Isco his top target ahead of his first season in the Premier League.
The player delayed his decision until after the final of the Under-21 Euros that summer, giving Real Madrid the opportunity to make a move and finally signing the playmaker in a €30million deal.
It seems now that every single transfer window throws up a fresh link to the Spaniard who is unlikely to ever move to the Etihad Stadium at this stage of his career. The rumours will never be allowed to die, with Marca resurrecting the link yet again.
According to Marca, Isco has informed Real Madrid of his desire to leave and the Spanish giants are willing to sell for around £45m, with Arsenal and Manchester City reportedly keen on the 28-year-old.

I know many City fans are sick of the rumours but he wouldn’t be a bad addition as we need a Silva replacement

People acting like he some washed up 35 year old bum, he’s 28 still in his prime and extremely creative, sort of player that would fill the silva void for a while atleast, we lack goals people this isn’t a terrible shout although I understand why city fans are fed up

Isco 🇪🇸 is a good player but don’t needed at City, playing as midfield or can be used as RW. City have enough. Even €50m too much actually for this player. And then source, Mundo Deportivo 🤦🏽♂️. Oh my god. Barcelona newspapers, may be Barça need more him than City 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

Is it wrong that I still want him to play for us?

Isco can’t solve city problem, we need new ideas

With the poor start of the season, City will certainly be in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team. The Spain international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of attacking midfielder Pep Guardiola wants to target in the winter transfer window.
The 28-year-old could help fill the void left by David Silva after the long-serving playmaker left City at the end of last season. The Spain international will offer Pep Guardiola the freedom to be more flexible with his formations, tactics and team selections.
