Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that the club is interested in signing Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix.
A defender and a winger have been City’s priority and Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres are expected to join Manchester City in the coming days, but Guardiola isn’t done there.
Pep Guardiola also wants to bring in a new forward ahead of the start of the new season and is reportedly to have identify Joao Felix as part of his plans.
The 20-year-old was linked with Manchester City following his sensational performances for Benfica last season before eventually moving to Atletico for a huge £113m fee, making him the third most expensive player in history.
According to The Athletic UK, the Citizen remain in the market for a central striker, having monitored several options over the past 18 months and an enquiry was made to Atletico Madrid for Joao Felix.
The report adds that City are considering either a playmaker or false nine with a good scoring record, or a more traditional No 9 who is strong and skilful.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief and Man City Xtra, City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions

I think we need the tallest striker right now. Haaland is the best option.— El Prof El Smart. (@SaidMwishehe1) August 4, 2020
Halaad is 100 times better than him— DaCapital_A (@ADacapital) August 4, 2020

City should look to strengthen up front this summer, with next season likely to be Sergio Aguero’s final one at the Etihad Stadium.
Rather than waiting until that minute to replace him, City should be proactive and look for a long-term successor in the coming months. That would allow the chosen striker to spend a year learning from Aguero, with a view to taking over the campaign after next.
