Manchester City is considering a move for striker Kyogo Furuhashi as the club looks to add depth to their squad. Furuhashi, a 29-year-old Japanese player, has been identified as a potential target to replace outgoing striker Julian Alvarez and provide backup for Erling Haaland. City’s transfer window has been relatively quiet until now, with the potential signing of Ilkay Gundogan on a free transfer also in the works.
Furuhashi, known for his lightning burst of pace, has had a successful career at Celtic and previously at clubs like FC Gifu and Vissel Kobe. His impressive stats and list of trophies and individual honours make him an attractive option for Manchester City as they look to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season. Personal terms are not expected to be an issue if City decides to make a move for the striker, but their focus is currently on completing other transfer deals.
