Manchester City’s pre-season training camp is set to begin at the City Football Academy. Majority of the squad, including players involved in Euro 2024 and Copa America, had little time to rest between the club season and national team duties.
Pep Guardiola and some players will kick off pre-season training on July 15, with those involved in summer tournaments returning later. Manchester City will then head to the United States for a four-match tour, facing Celtic, AC Milan, FC Barcelona, and Chelsea across different cities on the east coast.
The club’s summer transfer activity has been limited, with only Brazilian winger Savio expected to be signed before the tour. Manchester City will also launch a new home kit in the US to capitalize on their growing American fanbase, with the possibility of another kit launch during the tour.
