Despite this, a report from The Independent suggests that City manager Pep Guardiola and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta still have a civil relationship, with Guardiola admiring Arteta for his coaching abilities.
Arteta, who previously worked as Guardiola’s assistant at City, has overseen 237 games as Arsenal’s manager, with a record of 143 wins, 37 draws, and 57 losses. Guardiola has expressed that he learned a lot from Arteta during their time working together and maintains a positive relationship with his former colleague. Despite the intense competition between their teams, Guardiola and Arteta’s relationship appears to be on good terms.
