Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Nicolas Otamendi and Oleksandr Zinchenko could be used in a sensational swap deal with Napoli for Kalidou Koulibaly.
Guardiola’s defence has proved his side’s weak link at many stages of the season, with injuries to the likes of Aymeric Laporte being compounded by the poor form of defenders such as John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi
The Citizens are interested in bringing in a centre-back, and scouts have kept an eye on the 29-year-old Senegal ace.
According to Daniel Cutts via the Sun, Napoli have already been in contact with City over the availability of both Otamendi and Zinchenko.
Napoli have looked at bringing Otamendi for a while now and see him as a solid replacement if they were to lose Koulibaly. While they also tried to sign Zinchenko last summer, but the 23-year-old wanted to stay and fight for his place.
