Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports to yet another update on Eric Garcia‘s potential move to Barcelona.
The highly-rated 19-year-old centre-back has been linked with a return to his boyhood club Barcelona.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola had confirmed that centre-back Eric Garcia does not want to extend his contract at the Premier League club, and wants to “play in other places.”
According to ESPN, Barcelona will try to re-sign Eric Garcia this summer but are unlikely to pay in excess of £13.5million for the 19-year-old La Masía graduate. City feel he is worth €30m despite the fact he could walk away for free in 2021.
The report adds Barcelona have not yet made contact with the Cityzens about Garcia and only plan to do so once the Champions League reaches its conclusion.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra and City chief, Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
Just let him go and get Tosin into the squad— Cocomakeherfeelspecial🖤 (@oyissaaaa) August 10, 2020
Let’s sell him for 13.5M then. He’s done nothing to prove he’s worth more than that.— Man City 🇧🇼 (@mancity2432) August 10, 2020
Spent over 100mil each on Dembele and Coutinho but can’t even pay 15 million for Garcia😂😂 Joke of a club— Jonathan Yeo (@KingJon01) August 10, 2020
Then let him stay. We cannot let go of our talents for nuts— jojo (@nocrzhan) August 10, 2020
He is homegrown… for both teams, and he is going to be one of the best cb itw in 3 years, he has to be at least €35M… Not sure if this value will be the one though…— eKrieger (@EnzoKrieger7) August 10, 2020
