Tottenham now lead the race to sign ‘incredible’ Manchester City player

Tottenham started to come alive in the transfer market after their 2-0 win over Manchester City.

Spurs quickly signed Xavi Simons – who was linked to Manchester City earlier this summer – in a £52m move from RB Leipzig.

Before this announcement on Friday, Tottenham were keeping a close eye on the Etihad Stadium, showing interest in Savinho and Nathan Ake as well as Manuel Akanji.
