Manchester City players have not been performing at their best so far in the 2024/2025 season, with some key players struggling. Kyle Walker, in particular, has had a nightmare start to the season, making several individual errors that have cost the team. Bernardo Silva is also struggling for form in various positions on the field, failing to offer creativity and threat as expected. Jeremy Doku has shown flashes of brilliance but has also been inconsistent against top teams.
Despite Manchester City’s current second-place standing in the Premier League, manager Pep Guardiola will be closely analyzing his team’s performances over the international break. Walker, Silva, and Doku will need to step up their game and improve their contributions to the team in order to secure their places in the starting lineup. Guardiola may look to make changes, including starting Jack Grealish ahead of underperforming players, to strengthen the team’s performance moving forward. The players must address their individual errors and inconsistencies to help Manchester City maintain their competitive edge in the league.
