Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have reportedly REJECTED an official €80m offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Bernardo Silva.
The midfielder has been chased by Barcelona all summer despite their financial troubles. City are said to value the Portugal international at £84m, which dissuaded Barcelona.
Even though we are just thirteen days away from the end of the ongoing summer transfer window, Barcelona have not given up their hopes of signing Bernardo Silva.
While Barcelona dream of signing Bernardo Silva before the end of the transfer window, they aren’t the only side after the Manchester City star.
The time reported on Wednesday that Paris Saint-Germain were pondering a late move for Bernardo Silva and are prepared to table an offer in the excess of £59.1m($71M) for the Manchester City playmaker.
According to the latest information from Le10 Sport as relayed by Sport Witness, PSG ‘transmitted an offer’ of €80M to Man City for Bernardo Silva after making him ‘one of their priorities of the summer’.
However, as per the report Pep Guardiola’s side rejected the offer, doing so ‘without looking to negotiate’.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
