Manchester City are rumored to be interested in signing Crystal Palace and England playmaker Eberechi Eze as they look to strengthen their midfield. Last summer, City were in need of reinforcements due to an injury to Kevin De Bruyne. Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Matheus Nunes was ultimately signed by City to provide cover in midfield.

While Manchester City had considered signing Eberechi Eze last summer, they are not currently planning a move for him ahead of the new season. Reports of a potential £60 million move for Eze were circulating, but City are now exploring other options in midfield, including Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes and Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich. The club may also need to address the future of goalkeeper Ederson amid interest from the Saudi Pro League.

Manchester City’s interest in Eberechi Eze has been clarified as being from last summer with no current plans for a move. The club will be looking at other options to strengthen their midfield this summer and may need to address potential departures of first-team players. City’s focus is now on exploring other targets in the same position as they prepare for the new season.
