Manchester City have agreed to sell Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid for a fee of £82 million, but there is still some work to be done for the move to be finalized. Atletico and City reached an agreement earlier, but there is now a disagreement over personal terms, specifically regarding base salary and contract length. Alvarez, who is keen on the move, has grown tired of his role at City and is looking for more regular playing time.
Atleti have told Alvarez that they intend to make him the new face of their club, but the delay in finalizing personal terms could potentially see the deal collapse. If this happens, City may turn their attention to Paris Saint-Germain, who were also interested in the Argentine striker and have the financial resources to offer him a bigger salary. Despite the hiccup, both clubs are working to resolve the disagreements and hope to finalize the deal soon.
