Stefan Ortega could leave Man City to play in Italy.

Goalkeeper Stefan Ortega has become the forgotten man at Man City this season. The arrivals of Gianluigi Donnarumma, James Trafford, and Marcus Bettinelli at the Etihad have seen Ortega not feature at all for City this season. The German goalkeeper has become Man City’s fourth-choice keeper, and he is far too good a player to remain in that role. A new report indicates that Serie A club Genoa has an interest in signing Stefan Ortega in the January transfer window as they look to sign a goalkeeper. That could be the ideal move for Ortega, who deserves the opportunity to be the number-one goalkeeper somewhere.
