Manchester City have been handed a major fitness boost as Gabriel Jesus and Aymeric Laporte were both spotted taking part in a gym session with the rest of the first-team squad on Wednesday.
With City already confirmed as group winners in the Champions League, Jesus and Laporte weren’t risked after picking up knocks in the win at Watford last weekend, both described as ‘minor’ issues.
Pep Guardiola didn’t give any indication either way over the pair’s availability for the Saturday lunchtime clash with Wolves at the Etihad in the Premier League.
The duo could be in line to feature at the weekend as Manchester City posted pictures of Jesus and Laporte taking part in a ‘light’ recovery and gym session.
It was a positive to see them both take part in Wednesday’s recovery session at the City Football Academy.
The news was shared on twitter by City Xtra, which gathered a number of responses from Man City fans who are keen to see them back in action…
