Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Southampton and the Club have reached a full agreement for the permanent transfer of Romeo Lavia.
The Premier League side have been in talks over the highly-rated talented Belgian midfielder for a number of weeks. They have been picking up young talent from perceivably bigger Premier League clubs, landing Chelsea duo Dynel Simeu and Valentino Livramento last summer.
Goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu, 20, has already completed a move to St Mary’s and signed a five-year contract this month.
After snapping up German talent Armel Bella-Kotchap, Southampton are now set to secure the signing of another young Manchester City talent.
According to the information of transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Southampton and Manchester City have now reached a full agreement on a deal for Romeo Lavia.
The transfer will be in the format of a permanent deal, with the transfer fee set in the region of £10 million. It is confirmed that the Premier League champions have included a buy-back clause in the deal, with the player considered a ‘top talent’ at the Etihad Stadium.

A holding midfielder by trade, the young Belgian is highly-rated at the Etihad Stadium and someone the club expects to enjoy a successful career at the highest level – hence the buyback clause.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
