Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Red Bull Leipzig have agreed personal terms with Manchester City left-back Angelino.
The Citzens took advantage of a buy-back clause to re-sign Angelino, just a year after the Spaniard departed the club for PSV Eindhoven. The City left-back however, left England for Leipzig in search of regular game time.
The full-back spent the last seven months on loan at RB Leipzig and helped the German club to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
After an impressive spell at Bundesliga, his stock have risen substantially, with the Bundesliga club keen to sign the Spaniard on a permanent deal.
According to Kicker as translated by Transfermarkt, the 23-year-old Spaniard’s return to RB Leipzig is ‘all but done’.
The report adds the Bundesliga side have agreed terms with the Angelino, while negotiations with Manchester City could be completed in the course of the week.

At least swap with Upamecano if the deal with Koulibaly is that hard.— TiTo🏆💯💙 (@Titoz23) September 7, 2020
If Laporte was fit Angelino could have performed better. The problem is we have far too many LBs now- Mendy, Cancelo, Zinch and even Ake. So we won’t miss him.Pep wants Koulibaly, but if its not happening then angelino+ 30mil for upamecano is good business Txiki 🙏— Aswin Viswanathan (@CallMeAchu) September 7, 2020
Good luck to him, he deserves it. Sorry it didn’t work out at City— Jill G (@swinny1960) September 7, 2020
Sad to see him leave, such an outstanding talent. Hopefully he can come back in the future.— Xatinder (@XnghSatinder___) September 7, 2020
