Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims Pep Guardiola will only renew his contract by one year.
Guardiola’s contract at the Etihad Stadium is due to expire at the end of next season, and there have been suggestions that the Spaniard could walk away from the Citizens at the end of his current deal.
This is already the longest time Guardiola has spent at a single club, with four and three seasons at Barcelona and Bayern respectively.
Speculation over the Catalan’s next move will undoubtedly increase as the end of the contract nears.
According to the latest edition of SPORT on Wednesday, Guardiola will only renew his contract at the Etihad by a further 12 months.
Guardiola, 49, took charge at City on an initial three-year deal in 2016 but extended that by a further two seasons in 2018.
While extending his terms at the Etihad, he insisted a new deal will only be offered if he proves deserving of one this season.

That will cause lots of uncertainty in the club about the future. After all many players wr signed are here because of Pep.

Poor long term planning for me will he groundhog day all the time with uncertainty if its a 1 year rolling contract. Tail wagging the dog I’m afraid for me. Love pep but we need long term commitment not every 6 months we ain’t sure.
