Former footballer Danny Murphy believes that Phil Foden’s exceptional performances this season have made it impossible for Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola to leave him on the bench.

“This season, it’s like the penny’s dropped and he’s gone, I’m going to play that well, he’s going to find a place for me somewhere and someone else is sitting on the bench.”
