Premier League chief Richard Masters has confirmed that a date has been set for Man City’s hearing into their 115 alleged breaches of financial rules.
City were charged by the Premier League in February for breaches in multiple areas, including allegedly failing to provide the correct financial information and failing to co-operate with an investigation.
A range of sanctions are possible if City are found guilty of any breaches, including a points deduction or expulsion from the top division.
Following the announcement of the charges, City posted a club statement in which they denied any wrongdoing, and confirmed that they would ‘robustly’ defend themselves.
