The team has been unbeaten since early December and remained undefeated at the Etihad Stadium throughout the last league campaign. Manchester City will face Arsenal in the opening weeks of the new season, after failing to beat them in three meetings last season. The team will also play Manchester United in the FA Community Shield, a rematch of the FA Cup Final where City suffered a surprising loss.
