Manchester City’s Joško Gvardiol is facing no complications as he makes progress in his recovery from a setback.
The Croatia international left the pitch after 51 minutes in Manchester City’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea on January 4th.
This was because of a broken tibia, forcing him to undergo surgery, and he’s been out of action since then.
At that time, there were concerns over the defender missing the World Cup. Two months ago, Croatia’s head of medical services, Tomislav Vlahović, indicated the 24-year-old would make it to Zlatko Dalić’s final squad for the World Cup.
