Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports that claims West Ham United are eyeing a loan deal for Nathan Ake.
The Holland international has found consistent game time hard to come by since his £40m move from Bournemouth last year.
Due to the form of Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte and John Stones, Ake finds himself stuck behind in the pecking order.
The 26-year-old defender has made 10 appearances in all competitions during the 2021-22 campaign, including five outings in the Premier League
Meanwhile, the Hammers are expected to be without Kurt Zouma until March due to the hamstring problem that the Frenchman picked up during the 3-2 win over Chelsea on Saturday.
Angelo Ogbonna will miss the remainder of the campaign with a serious knee injury, leaving Craig Dawson and Issa Diop as the club’s only two fit first-team centre-backs.
As per a report from the Evening Standard’s West Ham reporter Jack Rosser, a loan move for Manchester City’s Nathan Ake is on top of David Moyes’ priorities for the upcoming January transfer window.
The report claims that the capital side are hoping to tempt the 26-year-old with the offer of regular football, although the top-four hopefuls face a battle to convince Man City to let him leave.
