Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays an update from Mino Raiola on Erling Haaland’s future ahead of next summer.
The Norwegian has become one of the most sought-after players in the transfer market since making his breakthrough at Red Bull Salzburg a couple of years ago.
Having missed out on a deal for Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane earlier this year, the Citizens are expected to spend big on a new centre-forward ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
The Borussia Dortmund’s striker is reportedly next Pep Guardiola’s ‘primary striker target’ as he looks for a new No 9 after the departure of Sergio Aguero last summer.
Haaland, who remains under contract with the Black and Yellow until 2024, has already netted 19 goals in 16 appearances for Dortmund this term despite injury concerns.
Such remarkable progress in Germany has invariably put the Norwegian goal machine on the radars of many European football clubs, with Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Real Madrid among his suitors.
It looks like there’s set to be a ferocious bidding war when he decides to leave Dortmund.
As per ‘The European Lad‘ on Twitter, Mino Raiola has provided yet another update on his in-demand client’s future while speaking on Dutch television this week.
When asked about the possibility of the Norway international potentially holding out and waiting for a potential offer from FC Barcelona, Mino Raiola exclaimed, “(Erling) Haaland can wait for everyone.”
Raiola continued, “We don’t have a pre-agreement with any club. We will look for the best option and I also never ruled out another year at Dortmund; theoretically, this is still possible.”
In light to the encouraging update on Haaland, many Man City fans have reacted – here are some of the best responses.

Wouldn’t be surprised if City signed or agreed to sign Vlahovic in January.
