Manchester City have been known to cash in on many players during transfer windows, with big names like Cole Palmer, Riyad Mahrez, Raheem Sterling, and Gabriel Jesus leaving the club. Aymeric Laporte, who left City last year to join Al Nassr, has now requested to leave his current club just one year after his exit. Laporte, a top defender, made 180 appearances for City and won numerous trophies during his time at the club. If he does leave Al Nassr this summer, Laporte could be a valuable signing for any top club in Europe looking for defensive reinforcement.
