Manchester City instructed Pep Guardiola to assess the club’s trialist, Amar Fatah, during their pre-season tour in the United States. Fatah, who is a Swedish youth international, was signed by Troyes in 2022 and subsequently loaned to Lommel before featuring for City on the pre-season tour. Guardiola praised Fatah’s style of play and potential, indicating that the youngster could have a bright future ahead under his guidance.
