Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will be hoping that Kevin De Bruyne becomes available for selection sooner rather than later as his team are currently facing an injury crisis.
On Wednesday, Guardiola addressed De Bruyne’s injury by admitting that it was more “complicated” than he initially reckoned and that he still feels pain while kicking a ball.
Barring Manchester City’s 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup, they have managed to go unbeaten in De Bruyne’s absence across all competitions.
