The three clubs mentioned so far keen on Messi’s signature have been City, PSG and Inter Milan, But it’s City who are seen as major favourites by reliable Spanish journalists.
According to RAC1 via Mundo Deportivo, Lionel Messi has made it clear that the only manager he wants to work with at City is Pep Guardiola.
There have been several claims that Messi has been in touch with the Catalan manager, so it’d be no surprise that he wants to be sure that he’ll be coached by him in England.
Regardless of all the speculation over where Lionel Messi could ultimately end up, there’s only two realistic outcomes: he’ll either stay at a Bartomeu-less Barca, or go to the Etihad.
