Paul Scholes says Manchester United have a player who is actually similar to Man City’s Rodri

Paul Scholes has compared one Manchester United player to Rodri.

While the Spaniard is widely viewed as the best defensive midfielder in the world, Roy Keane feels it is “disrespectful” to class him as just a number six — due to the goals and assists he gets and his overall contribution going forward.

Adam Wharton also praised Rodri for how well-rounded of a player he is.

Much like for Manchester City, a case can be made that the 28-year-old is Spain’s most important cog, who continues to impress whichever team he plays for.
