Manchester City’s summer transfer plans for forward Oscar Bobb have been revealed, with the club opting to keep him at the Etihad Stadium for another season instead of sending him out on loan. This decision differs from previous instances where young talents were sent out for more playing time and experience.

City officials believe that having Bobb train and play under Pep Guardiola for another season will be the best way for him to continue developing. Despite the club’s history of utilizing loan agreements or buy-back clauses for young players, Bobb will not be leaving on a short-term or permanent deal this summer.

The 20-year-old has recently seen a significant increase in first-team opportunities at Manchester City, having scored two goals and provided two assists in 25 appearances across all competitions. In recognition of his progress, Bobb was rewarded with a new five-year contract and a substantial increase in salary back in February.
