Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report to yet another update on the club’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Braut Haaland ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Citizens are believed to be leading the race for the 21-year-old’s signature, while La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on his situation.

After weeks of speculation regarding his future and where his next destination could be, several reports are now pointing towards Manchester City being the successful suitor.

Man City fans have been getting steadily giddier about seeing Erling Haaland every week from next season since a report in Saturday’s Mail said a deal was in place to sign the Dortmund striker.

And following on from a significant number of developments from Spain, England, and Germany on the future of Haaland, a new development from a high-ranking source in the latter has provided new information, which will most likely get fans of Manchester City that little more excited.

According to some breaking news from BILD’s Head of Football, Christian Falk, Borussia Dortmund officials believe Erling Haaland has agreed to a move to Manchester City this summer ahead of the new season – in what would be a major blow to the hopes of other suitors including Real Madrid and Barcelona.
