Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims a deal for Erling Haaland is very imminent.
Pep Guardiola has been pushing for the signing of a top-class striker for a while now, and after narrowly missing out on Harry Kane last summer, City are set to make one of the biggest moves of the year to show they mean business.
Haaland has been prolific during his time at Borussia Dortmund and has emerged as a global star. Now, it looks as though he’s set to ply his trade in England for the first time.
The Daily Mail also reported last month that City had agreed terms to sign Haaland from Dortmund, which would make him the Premier League’s highest-paid player.
Samuel Luckhurst via Manchester Evening News also did claimed last month the Borussia Dortmund striker is expected to join Manchester City in the summer when his €75million release clause becomes active.
According to the latest information from transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, a deal for Erling Haaland to Manchester City is very imminent.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
