Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have enquired about Udinese left-back, Destiny Udogie in recent days.

Guardiola and co have been targeting Marc Cucurella for several weeks but negotiations between Brighton and the Premier League champions have allegedly ended, with the Citizens required to increase their offer if they wish to re-open talks with the Seagulls.

The 24-year-old is looking more likely to join Chelsea in the ongoing window and Manchester City have started identifying alternative options

According to Sky Sport Italia, Man City have enquired about Udinese left-back, Destiny Udogie in recent days.

Udogie is considered one of the top young talents in European football at the moment and made a splash in last season’s Serie A with a goal involvement of eight (5 goals, 3 assists) in thirty-five appearances.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
