Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report by Football Insider that Juventus are ready to offer Douglas Costa or Miralem Pjanic in a part-exchange swap deal for Jesus Jesus.
Gabriel Jesus continues to spark talk of interest from Juventus after enjoying a fine season with 18 goals and nine assists in 39 appearances but still finds himself behind the evergreen Sergio Aguero in the striker pecking order at the Etihad
The Serie A giants have made the Brazilian striker, 23, one of their top targets when the transfer window opens but cannot afford to sign him outright due to the crippling financial impact of the coronavirus.
Since arriving at the Manchester club in January 2017, Jesus has gone on to score 63 goals and provide 25 assists in 139 appearances for the club (per Transfermarkt). Now that it has been reported that Juventus would be willing to Miralem Pjanic or Brazilian winger Costa in a possible deal for Jesus, this news has sparked a big reaction from Man City fans on Twitter.
Sorry Juve. Jesús 🇧🇷 🤙🏾 is player of City and will be like that. You can take Cancelo 🇵🇹 or Otamendi 🇦🇷 if you want 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

No thanks. Pjanic is a above average big game ducker. Costa can’t play a full season due to injury proness

people don’t get that jesus is exactly the profile of striker we would be looking to sign if he wasn’t already here. should be given at least a season after aguero leaves to show he’s the real deal

It remains to be seen whether City would have any interest in either of Juve’s two long-standing performers or would be interested in cashing in on Jesus after another impressive campaign.
