The latest summer transfer window saw Julian Alvarez, Joao Cancelo, Liam Delap, and Sergio Gomez leave on permanent deals. Despite speculation about the future of key player Phil Foden, Darren Bent claims the midfielder is not going to leave City and will continue to thrive under Guardiola’s management.
Foden, who has been with City since his youth academy days, has emerged as a crucial player for the club, scoring 88 goals and providing 54 assists in 277 appearances. The midfielder has stated in interviews that he sees himself as a City player for life, echoing Bent’s belief that he will not depart from the club, much to the delight of fans and the team.
