Nedum Onuoha makes ‘honest’ admission about Man City’s title-winning game vs QPR on podcast

Nedum Onuoha refused to time-waste before Man City scored their famous title-winning goal in 2012 as he felt it would have been “disrespectful”.

The former defender spent the first part of the 2011/12 campaign at boyhood club Man City before joining a struggling Queen Park Rangers’ side in the January transfer window.

He would eventually help Mark Hughes’ side avoid relegation by the narrowest of margins after Stoke held Bolton to a 2-2 draw on the final day.

Now, more than a decade after the events in Manchester, former City defender Nedum Onuoha has made an “honest” admission about the game.
