Jack Grealish has shared his experience of being booed by rival Premier League fans.
Grealish made a big-money move to Manchester City in the summer of 2021 and played a crucial role in their successful season, securing the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League titles in 2022/23.
Since joining City, Grealish has become a superstar in English football, even signing a lucrative deal with Gucci.
In a recent interview, Grealish expressed his gratitude towards the Manchester City fans for their unwavering support since his arrival at the club.
He stated, “I think I have a good relationship with the fans because I was one myself and I always try to interact with them whenever I see them. The City fans are amazing, and I always make time to chat with them.”
While Grealish enjoys the love from City supporters, he has noticed a different reception at other Premier League stadiums, where he often gets booed.
Reflecting on the booing, Grealish said, “I always think about it and wonder why they boo me. Even my mum asks me about it, but I don’t have a clear answer. It happens at every away game, and I just try to see it as a positive or a form of flattery.”
Grealish’s season has been challenging due to injuries, limiting his appearances and contributions to three goals and one assist in the Premier League.
