Manchester City are planning the future of Brazilian winger Kayky as he nears a return to action after recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury. The 21-year-old, who had a loan spell at Bahia in Brazil, is working with City to determine his next steps for career development in Europe.

Having previously played for Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal and made his debut for Manchester City in the FA Cup, Kayky’s future may now lie in the Dutch Eredivisie. Reports suggest he is attracting interest from Sparta Rotterdam and is likely to leave Manchester City this summer for more playing time.

While Kayky looks for opportunities elsewhere, Manchester City have recently signed Brazilian forward Savinho, who is expected to be part of Pep Guardiola’s squad for the upcoming season. Savinho credits his teammate Riyad Mahrez for his choice of the number 26 shirt and is set to start training with the team in August after returning from his break.
