Manchester City have announced the return of former players Richard Dunne and Kolo Toure as part of major managerial changes at the City Football Academy. The Sky Blues have confirmed new management appointments for the academy teams ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

Manchester City’s first-team had a successful season, winning the Premier League title and other prestigious trophies. The Under-18s also achieved success by winning the FA Youth Cup and reaching the Premier League Cup Final, although they suffered a defeat to Manchester United.

The Under-18s will be under new management for the upcoming season, with Oliver Reiss appointed as manager and Richard Dunne as his assistant. Kolo Toure has also been named as assistant coach for the Under-16s. The club’s director, Thomas Kruecken, expressed excitement about the new coaching structure, emphasizing the importance of developing and improving the academy for future success.
